Yes, that is the main reason we built this theme - to work without the use of any plugins. We're supporting the theme installed on a fresh installation of WordPress and no plugins. Anything you use the theme for outside of that would be impossible for us to support . Not that it isn't doable it's just not what WPM was intended for
