There are a number of ways to do SEO but the WPM theme and course is focused on web design and selling web design as a service so we don't talk much about SEO. Also incorporating an auto responder is an additional service to be offered outside of the web design. You certainly can add an autoresponder but as it will most likely be added by a 3rd party plugin we can't help you troubleshoot any issues that you might have.
